Clean and sustainable energy consumption that allows for smart energy storage has been the challenge this year and Delta Cocinas has just installed solar panels at its factory in Rincón de Soto, La Rioja.
The initial objective was to use the energy for the manufacture of furniture, but it will also be used to provide recharging, for example for electric vehicles for employees and visitors.
Thanks to the monitoring and control of consumption, the surplus will be returned to the grid so that others can use it and thus promote the circular economy.
Thus, in addition to including the Delta ECO collection of kitchens in natural wood with 100% environmentally friendly varnishes, Delta Cocinas will also manufacture them with solar energy, undoubtedly another step towards a real commitment to sustainability.
